Work begins on power line connecting Sharsharah to Tarhuna station

The General Electricity Company announced Friday that work has commenced on a project to connect the new Sharsharah station (11/30 kV) to the Tarhuna civil station through the installation of underground cables extending approximately 4 kilometres.
In a statement published on its official Facebook page, the company described this as a vital and long-awaited project that is expected to significantly improve electrical voltage levels and address the bottlenecks that residents of the Sharsharah area have experienced over recent years.
According to the company, the project will also enhance the stability of the electricity grid and improve the efficiency of services provided to citizens, which will have a positive impact on the quality of public services in the region.
