Brega says fuel supply stable as tankers dock in Tripoli, Zawiya and Misurata

Brega Oil Marketing Company has reaffirmed that its teams are working around the clock to unload and distribute fuel across the country, as part of an urgent plan coordinated with the relevant authorities to end what it described as “unjustified congestion.”
Brega confirmed that additional shipments were discharged over the past 24 hours, with operations set to continue until Friday to ensure stable supplies. The company said it is currently unloading a shipment of 22 million litres, while another tanker is preparing to dock once the process is complete.
In addition, Brega announced that two further tankers are scheduled to discharge their cargoes at the Zawiya and Misurata depots to reinforce reserves. Regular distribution also continues from Brega’s depots in Tripoli, Zawiya, and Misurata, ensuring the local market’s needs are met.
Brega stressed that it remains committed to maintaining steady fuel supplies and urged citizens not to be misled by rumours of shortages.
