Jordan’s Media Minister: Jordan ponders reopening embassy in Tripoli
The Jordanian Media and Communication Affairs Minister, Mohamed Al-Moumni, said his country is considering to send back its ambassador to Libya after two years of recalling the ambassador Fawaz Al-Eatan from Tripoli upon his kidnapping incident.
Al-Momni said in a press statement to the English-language newspaper Jordan Times, that his country will send an ambassador to Tripoli as soon as security gets established there, pointing out that there are now no sent Jordanian attache in thier embassy in the capital.
The Jordanian Media Minister added, answering Jordan Times question, that the arrival of the UN-backed Presidential /council has encouraged many countries to return their diplomatic missions to Tripoli, and Jordan is considering to do the same as well.
