US sanctions HoR Speaker Aqilah Saleh

The United States of America has announced Friday that it put sanctions on the Speaker of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives, Aqilah Saleh for obstructing the Skhirat agreement and opposing the endorsement of the UN-backed GNA.
The US sanctions came after Saleh had been so adamant toward convening an HoR meeting to carry out a vite of confidence for the GNA cabinet that was presented by Fayez Al-Serraj, the head of the Presidential Council.
These sanctions follow earlier Ones slammed on Saleh by the EU for the same reasons and for his continuous rejection of a peaceful transition of power in Libya.
