17 injuries from Misurata forces transferred to Italy as fighters gain more ground toward Sirte
An Italian military aircraft arrived in Misurata airport Friday to transfer wounded fighters from the latest clashes between Misurata forces and ISIS militants in Abu Grein and Al-Siddada.
The Italian C130 aircraft transferred 17 injured persons to receive treatment in the Italian hospitals as part if a deal made between the Italian authorities and the UN-backed Government of National Accord under the umbrella of the international support for fight against ISIS.
Meanwhile, Misurata forces of the Joint Operations Room advocated by the Presidential Council have gained advances on Abu Grein and Al-Siddada axes, pushing ISIS militants back to farther areas toward its hub in Sirte.
