Brigadier General Abu Zriba steps into key security role

Brigadier General Hassan Abu Zriba has been appointed as interim head of Libya’s Stability Support Apparatus, according to sources who spoke with Ean Libya.

The decision was made during a meeting of the apparatus’s vice presidents, who selected Abu Zriba to succeed the late Abdul Ghani Al-Kikli.

Abu Zriba is recognised as a prominent military leader in Libya’s western region.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
