On Monday morning, the Head of the Presidential Council of the UN-backed Government of National Accord, Fayez Al-Serraj, arrived in Paris to meet French officials to discuss the current Libyan crises as well as the mutual relations with France.

According to the Libyan News Agency (LANA), Prime Minister of the GNA, Al-Serraj, will meet with the French authorities in a formal meeting that could include his French counterpart to go over many subjects of joint interest between Libya and France.

The visit comes a day after Al-Serraj left New York, where he was attending the UN General Assembly meetings, in which he met many neighboring countries’ leaders with whom he discussed fighting terrorism and protection of joint borders.
