Aguila Saleh meets tribal leaders from western region

Aguila Saleh Issa

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counsellor Aguila Saleh, held a meeting on Wednesday with a delegation of sheikhs and elders representing cities and tribes from Libya’s western region and mountain areas. The gathering took place at the conference hall in Qubbah.

The tribal representatives presented concerns related to basic services in western Libyan cities, specifically addressing needs in education, health, economic development, water resources and environmental issues. Saleh stated that the government would work to address these matters through the relevant ministries.

Following the discussions, delegation members presented Saleh with an award in recognition of what they characterised as his leadership and efforts toward resolving the Libyan crisis.
