Al-Bayda-based parallel CBL announces arrival of newly printed cash notes

The Central Bank of Libya (CBL), based in Al-Bayda city, as a parallel body to the Tripoli-based CBL, has announced that the banknotes (20-50) LYD, have arrived at the bank and will be circulated across all Libyan cities as per the agreement stroke earlier with between Al-Bayda and Tripoli CBL administrations under the supervision of the Presidential Council.
The Al-Bayda CBL said the newly printed notes are worth 4 billion dinars and will start circulating at the banks on June 1st, asking all Libyans to have a look at the guidelines booklet the CBL issued that describes the features of the two newly printed notes, (20-50).
