The spokesman of the military operation of the UN-backed Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord, Al-Bunayn Al-Marsous, Muhammad Al-Ghasri, disclosed that they received leaks from ISIS group that there are high-profile leaders under siege in Sirte.

“This explains why the ISIS militants are challenging death in their fight in the areas where those leaders are expected to be present, and explains why they have not surrendered to our forces in the besieged areas inside Sirte.” Al-Ghasri indicated.

He added that ISIS is now trapped in no more than 5km area, saying that they have captured Al-Doshmah neighbourhood that is overlooking the Ouagadougou halls compound in Sirte city center where ISIS terrorists are hiding.
