Al-Thinni sacks Libya’s ambassador to UN Dabbashi
The Prime Minister of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives’ government, Abdullah Al-Thinni, has sacked the Libyan Ambassador to the UN, Ibrahim Dabbashi.
Al-Thinni issued a resolution Friday saying that Dabbashi must leave his post starting Sunday, saying that he should come back to Libya and work in the Foreign Ministry as before.
This action comes after Dabbashi stated his rejection to the illicit exportation of oil by Al-Thinni government via the Indian-flagged Distya Ameya vessel.
