An armed attack has targeted a military camp of Khalifa Haftar’s main command in Sabha military district, sources reported on Saturday.

The sources added that about 9 fighters from Haftar’s forces were killed in the surprise attack early on Saturday morning.

“The attack targeted the headquarters of the 106th battalion, located in the north-east of the city of Sabha.” Sources told media outlets.

Haftar’s forces have been launching an offensive on Tripoli since April 04 aiming to take control of the capital and thus the whole country by a military grip.
