Audit Bureau warns of procrastination in printing school books
The Tripoli-based Audit Bureau warned Wednesday that there is remarkable procrastination in implementing the decision of the Presidential Council regarding speeding up the process of printing the school book for this year by contracting the necessary printing bodies by the Education Ministry.
In a statement, the Audit Bureau told the GNA’s Education Minister that they had consumed the time without finishing the printing of the books before the new school year commences.
“Reports say there are some procrastination efforts intentionally done by the Ministry and we call for clearing those allegations up.” The statement reads.
It added that there must be an immediate start of the printing process by contracting the relevant bodies so the students can start their school year with their books available.
