Bayda-based CBL: LYD200 million arrive in Labreg airport

The parallel Bayda-based Central Bank of Libya has announced that the second shipment of the banknotes printed in Russia, worth LYD200 million, has landed in Labreg airport.
The parallel CBL said on its official website that the banknotes are going to be distributed to all commercial banks in the country.
“The money shipment from abroad will keep coming in Libya as part of the CBL’s policy to alleviate the cash suffocating crisis that is burdening all the commercial banks.” The CBL’s statement on the website indicated.
