British Ambassador to Libya visits Zintan for the first time

The British Ambassador to Libya , Peter Millett, visited the city of Zintan on Monday, to discuss the United Kingdom (UK) and International Community’s ability to respond to the pressing humanitarian needs in the city and nearby areas.

The visit, which was at the invitation of Zintan Municipal Council, consisted of meetings that Millett described as “productive step on the road to improving living conditions in Zintan and the Western Mountains,” according to a statement by UK embassy in Libya Facebook page.

The UK ambassador reaffirmed his country’s commitment to assist Libya and its people “to achieve peace stability and prosperity”.
