The Deputy Head of the Presidential Council (PC) of the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA), Abdelsalam Kajman, said the British Embassy is soon to reopen in Libya’s capital, Tripoli.

Kajman added that he and the British ambassador to Libya, Peter Millett, discussed the UK’s support for the GNA and the PC as well as for the kickoff of work by the GNA’s ministers.

He indicated that Millett told him the UK supports Libya in fighting terrorism and in bringing back the economy into prosperity as it used to be, pointing out that Millett promised that the money printed in Britain for Libya will arrive respectively until the end of Ramadan to reach a sum of LYD1 billion.
