Drug dealers arrested in Qasr Bin Ghashir

Libya’s Anti-Narcotics Agency has arrested two suspected drug dealers, including a Sudanese national, during an operation in the Qasr Bin Ghashir area, south of Tripoli.
According to a statement issued by the agency on Wednesday via its official Facebook page, officers from the Operations and Coordination Department apprehended the suspects and seized a quantity of narcotic substances in their possession.
The statement said the confiscated items included drug pills as well as pieces of cannabis, locally known as hashish.
Authorities confirmed that all necessary legal measures have been taken against the suspects. They have since been referred to the competent anti-narcotics prosecution for further investigation.
