Dutch FM expresses concern over Tripoli violence

The Netherlands’ Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp has issued a statement regarding the escalating situation in Libya’s capital.
“I am concerned about the developments in Tripoli and call on all parties to protect civilians, respect the ceasefire, and hold the perpetrators accountable,” Veldkamp stated.
The Dutch diplomat also expressed support for diplomatic initiatives to resolve the crisis, adding: “We support the efforts of the UN mission to calm the situation and revive the political process.”
This statement comes as international concern grows over renewed violence in Tripoli, with Tunisia recently offering to host UN-backed peace talks between Libyan factions.
