General Attorney Office : We did not release Ben Nael, Misurata Military Council did
The Chairman of the Investigations Bureau at the Attorney General Office, Al-Seddik Al-Soor, said the release of Mohammed Ben Nael, one of Gaddafi’s loyalists, was done without letting the Attorney General Office know about it.
Al-Soor said Wednesday that the Attorney General Office did not know about the detainees swop deal between Misurata and Al-Magarha tribe, in which Ben Nael was released.
Ben Nael was released on April 04 along with 15 others from Bani Waleed in exchange with six persons from Misurata held in Bani Waleed.
Worth mentioning that he was caught by the force of south security in April 2015 when he was fighting nearby Brak Al-Shati base.
