The member of the High Council of State (HCS) Abdelrahman Al-Shater has called on the Presidential Council (PC) and its Head Fayez Al-Sirraj to name all the countries that are giving support for the offensive led by Khalifa Haftar against Tripoli.

Al-Shater said the PC is in need for political support so that the war can end with lesser destruction than expected, saying all the PC needs is the courage to name the countries that are providing Haftar with military and political support.

“We have seen the Head of the UNSMIL Ghassan Salame saying there are ten countries, but he never mentioned them and neither did Al-Sirraj.” The HCS’s member added.

Al-Shater said Salame can be executed for not naming any of the countries, but Al-Sirraj has no excuses as he is now in the position of protecting and securing Libyas and also securing the passage of the country into a civilian and democratic state.

“Mr. Al-Sirraj; we as Libyans need to know our enemies so we can tell the whole world who they are and thus end confusion. This is the time to tell the truth.” Al-Shater remarked.
