The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Agilah Saleh, has sent a letter to the Head of the UNSMIL and UN delegate to Libya, Martin Kobler, asking him to only deal with the new dialogue committee appointed by him as per decrees (2/3) for this year.

The spokesman of the HoR in Tobruk, Abdullah Belhig, said Saleh told Martin Kobler in strong terms that the new committee formed for the new dialogue rounds will be the one to represent the HoR as the former one was disbanded by order (1) for 2016.

The new dialogue committee will have 13 members with the same former Head of dialogue team Mohamed Shaib and other new faces.

Belhig said the HoR is planning to convene another meeting in the coming weeks after the vacation of Adha Eid.
