Interior Ministry: 345 deaths due to traffic accidents in January, February only
The Interior Ministry of the Salvation Government revealed that 345 persons died due to car accidents in last January and February around Libya.
The Interior Ministry explained Tuesday, on its website, that 600 persons got injured during the last two months in registered 721 road accidents.
In addition, the Interior Ministry estimated, in the report, the financial loss due to those accidents with moire than LYD3 million.
The mounting number of accidents in Libya is due to the current chaos it is living in as the number of cars has exceeded three in each single house in Libya due to lack of Customs tariff and lack of trafficking rules and police.
