Kidnapped Libyan Fatwa House member killed, confesses the killer

The Tripoli Investigation General Department posted Monday morning a video displaying the confession of Haitham Al-Zintani – 30 years old – saying how he kidnapped sheikh Nader Al-Omrani and then killed him.
The culprit who lives in Hadba area, like the deceased sheikh, said he was helped in the killing and abduction of Al-Omrani by an official at the Sabiya Criminal Combat Office in Tripoli, Abdelhakim Magish.
“Magish dug a deep hole in the ground and we descended Al-Omrani into it then Magish shot him dead until he emptied the whole Kalashnikov magazine in his body.”
The video shows Al-Zintani confessing that a third person named Ahmed Al-Safi opened fire above the head of the killed sheikh after he was dead.
Nader Al-Omrani is the Secretary General of the Libya Scholars Association and a member of Libya’s Fatwa House. He was kidnapped by unidentified people while he was going to the mosque on October 06.
