Kobler kicked out of presser
Libyan News
The UN envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler, was ordered to stop his press conference in Tripoli Friday by the Director of Foreign Media Department of the General National Congress, Jamal Zubia.
Zubia interrupted Kobler as the latter was briefing press on his meeting with the GNC president Nuri Abu Sahmain, and told him he is not allowed to carry on since he did not ask for permission from the Foreign Media Department.
“You did not take permission from us and this is a violation of our domestic rules and laws, Mr. Kobler, so I prefer you leave out.” Said Zubia.
Zubia was then arrested by Mitiga International Airport security for his actions and was released shortly.
