Libya reports 11 COVID-19 new cases

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 50,000 since the start of the pandemic

11 new people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 9 percent of the infection rate, according to a Monday report by the National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC).

The center also said 52 have recovered during the same reporting period.

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 50,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 490,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.

The virus has claimed the lives of 6,437 people. Over two million people received one dose of the vaccination, while more than one million others were vaccinated with two doses.
