Libyan audit bureau establishes committee to review Waha Oil

The Head of Libya’s Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, has formed a committee to examine operations at state-owned Waha Oil Company, one of the nation’s principal oil producers.
According to the official directive, the five-member committee will function under the oversight of the Director of Oil Sector Control within the General Administration for Control of Energy Sectors and the Public Company.
The appointed committee comprises Ezzedine Hudud, Ahmed Akrim, Yassin Al-Zaidi, Ashour Milad, and Murad Al-Ahiwel. The directive comes into force from the date of issuance.
The decree requires relevant authorities to implement and comply with the decision with immediate effect.
