The Libyan forces of the UN-backed Government of National Accord along with the engineers unit found in the liberated Neighbourhood 1 on Tuesday more than one storage for fuel, ammunition and armoured vehicles as well as heavy and medium weapons left by IS militants after they were defeated and the neighbourhood was liberated by the Misurata-led forces.

A military source also added that many other stocks were found while the forces of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous were combing through the neighbourhood.

“The stocks were for foods and groceries and they were hidden in cellars and other places inside houses.” The source indicated, pointing out that IS used to rob foods and fuel by forcing the vans that are going on the roads from Misrata to Jufra, and vice versa, to stop.
