Libyan PM Holds Official Talks with Turkish President

Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah conducted an official visit to Turkey on Wednesday, meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Presidential Palace in Ankara to strengthen ties between the two nations.
During the high-level meeting, our Premier discussed ways to enhance economic and trade partnerships with Turkey, alongside security cooperation that serves Libya’s stability. The talks addressed several regional developments and mutual interests between the two Mediterranean nations.
PM Dbeibah presented the government’s ongoing efforts to achieve stability and comprehensive development in Libya. President Erdogan, for his part, confirmed Turkey’s continued support for these national initiatives.
Our Premier emphasised the strategic importance of this visit, expressing the government’s appreciation for Turkish support across various sectors, particularly in political and economic domains. He noted that bilateral cooperation remains essential for Libya’s sustainable development goals.
Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi accompanied the Premier during the visit, participating in discussions aimed at strengthening diplomatic channels between Tripoli and Ankara.
