Libya’s football sees a big failure today

07

The Libyan futsal team has lost the chance to remain in the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations even though it won 4-2 against Angola in its last match in the second group of the tournament.

The Libyan team departed and lost the opportunity to defend its title, which it won last year. Whereas, from the same group, Egypt and Morocco made it to the next round with 7 and 6 points respectively.

Similarly, on the clubs level, Al-Ahli from Tripoli left the African Champions League after it failed to score a big win against ASEC Mimosas from Côte d’Ivoire.

Al-Ahli won 2-1 against ASEC to make the total of the two matches between them 3-2 for ASEC, which won the firs leg game by 2-0.
