Libya’s oil production above 800,000 bpd for first time since 2014 – NOC

The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation in Libya (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah, said Tuesday that Libya’s oil production has reached 808.000 barrels per day (bpd.)

Talking to Aki – Italian news agency – Sanallah said if Libya becomes more secure and stable, the oil production rates will soar to 1.25 million bpd by the end of 2017.

Libya’s oil production has been healing over the last few weeks with the reopening of blocked oil and gas pipelines in different oil fields, especially in Sharara oil field.
