Local officials in southern Libya discuss reopening Tammhant International Airport

A meeting, held on Sunday at Tamamhant International Airport, discussed a security plan for reopening the airport.
The meeting included several security and military agencies, the airport’s administration, Al-Bawanis municipal council, Al-Bawanis civil society organizations as well as officials from the Libyan Airlines, Afriqiyah Airlines and the National Safety Authority.
The main topic on the meeting’s agenda was the development of a security plan for the airport, so domestic flights can be resumed as soon as possible.
