Mitig decries reparative bombing on Derna
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Mitig said the repetitive airstrikes on Derna have become an issue so difficult to get past or be silent about.
Mitig added on Facebook Friday that there can never be any justification for bombing the innocent civilians the way Dignity Operation warplanes are doing, pointing out that such acts may deepen the wounds of people and send the national accord into an impasse.
“Our hearts go out to the Derna families who lost their beloved ones due to such irresponsible attacks and we stress that we are working on an end to their suffering.” He concluded.
