Musa Al-Koni meets Qatari foreign ministry official

Musa Al-Koni, Deputy Chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council, received Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi in Tripoli on Sunday.

During the meeting, Al-Khulaifi conveyed greetings from Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and confirmed Qatar’s continued support for the Presidential Council’s stability efforts.

The officials discussed developments in Libya’s political process and approaches to overcome the current impasse, focusing on progress toward elections to complete the country’s transitional phases.

The talks also covered areas of mutual interest and opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Libya and Qatar in various fields.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
