Operation Dignity seizes Jufra airbase in central Libya

Operation Dignity forces – under the command of Khalifa Haftar and eastern parliament – have captured Jufra city and its airbase after Benghazi Defence Brigades (BDB) had withdrawn.
According to media sources from the Operation Dignity, their forces controlled all towns in Jufra including Sokna, Hun, and Wadan.
Photos on social media also show Haftar’s forces strutting in the newly captured airbase and on the roads of Hun, Wadan, and Sokna.
The new control of the city comes after Friday clashes and after over 20 airstrikes – by both Haftar and Egypt’s warplanes – on the military positions of BDB in Wadan town over the week.
