The spokesman if the Ra’s Ajdair border, Hafith Omar, revealed Friday that a meeting between the administrations of both the Libyan and Tunisian sides of the border plus Zuwara’s Mayor had ended after discussions for 7 hours.

Omar told Press Solidarity that the meeting resulted in the decision to reopen the border starting Saturday, today, from both sides for travelers. While they agreed to reopen the border for trade and business starting next Monday.

The two sides formed a joint committee to check how these points are executed, especially the way the travellers will be treated and the trades and goods crossing.
