Speaker calls for Jan 17 special Assembly sessions
The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Aquila Saleh, has called members of parliament to attend an official session next Monday in the city of Tobruk, which will be the first chaired by him since his candidacy for the presidential elections in September 2021.
In the meantime, 15 MPs demanded to include an item on choosing a new prime minister in the upcoming session to form an interim technocratic government.
