Special Deterrence Force frees abducted Syrian boy, arrests kidnap gang

The Tripoli-based Special Deterrence Force (SDF) revealed Saturday that it had earlier freed a Syrian boy from his kidnappers, adding that the culprits were arrested and identified.
“We arrested four kidnappers; Abu Bakir Al-Gadiri, Essam Fikini, Tariq Al-Zarouk Radwan, and Ammar Abdullah Ammar.” The SDF disclosed to the media in a statement on Saturday, adding that two other criminals are being sought still.
In the statement, the SDF said the gang of abductors kidnapped the Syrian boy days ago from the Airport Road and then he was handed to a Werchefana-based gang.
According to the SDF, the kidnappers abducted the boy from inside his house while his father was not inside after they tied his mother to a chair and robbed the house safe, in which there was gold and money.
