Tobruk-based HoR’s meeting for GNA endorsement bungles, again
The House of Representatives, based in Tobruk, has failed gain to meet for the endorsement vote on the GNA cabinet Monday, although more than 150 members attended, the HoR member, Mustafa Abu Shagour.
Abu Shagour added that the HoR Speaker, Aqilah Saleh did not come into the meeting hall and therefore, the session was not held, pointing out that there were some opposition groups who firstly prevented the MPS from coming inside the hall.
He said that a committee of supporters for the GNa and another for opposition was formed after the chaos at the meeting today and they will meet in an attempt to find a way out of the crisis and reach an agreement that allow them to hold the session Tuesday.
