Top official in Libya’s Sirte Security Force targeted by assassination attempt
The deputy commander of the Libyan Sirte Protection and Security RoomAli Irfidah has been targeted by an assassination attempt as an unknown armed men opened fire on his car in Al-Khums city this morning.
The Sirte Protection and Security Room confirmed the news on Sunday and said Irfidah was sent to the hospital in Al-Khums and is now in very serious conditions.
