Tripoli Revolutionaries reject foreign trusteeship, maintain religious scholars as a reference

Libyan News
Tripoli Revolutionaries Brigade issued a statement Tuesday, in Martyrs Square, to reject imposing a government on Libya by the international community, stating that Libya’s sovereignty must remain intact and away from negotiation.
The Brigade refused the military-based ruling attempts holding on to the principles of February revolution and pointing out that Benghazi, Ajdabia and Derna revolutionaries are the basis of the 17 February revolution.
“Paolo Serra’s attempts to create a new occupation type in Libya is a great failure.” The statement explained.
“Every article agreed upon in any political agreement across Libya must be approved by Libya’s religious scholars.”
