Tripoli Security Dept. prohibits entering of vehicles into Corniche

Central Tripoli Municipality sets up concrete barriers at the entrances of the Corniche to disallow vehicles from driving around

The Tripoli Security Department in cooperation with the Central Tripoli Municipality blocked last Thursday the entrances of the downtown Corinche by concrete barriers from Waddan Hotel to the Tripoli port roundabout.

The move aims to allow the pedestrians to feel free while walking on the Corniche without any annoyances coming from the vehicles frequenting the area.

“It also helps prevent causing more cracks in the structure of the Corniche, which is so old and could collapse any minute.” According to the Security authorities.
