Tunisian Defence Ministry: Army busts 8 infiltrators on borer with Libya
The Tunisian Defence Ministry declared Saturday that its marine units that are positioned at the surveillance spot in Ras Ajdair intercepted 8 persons after they infiltrated into Tunisia from Libya by sea.
Ras Ajdair is a border city with Libya and has lately seen many attempts by IS fleeing militants to infiltrate into Tunisia, especially the Tunisian nationals who somehow managed to escape the fight against terror in Sirte and Sabratha in Libya.
The Tunisian Defence Ministry said in a statement that at 5:00 am, the marine units intercepted the 8 infiltrators.
“One of the only had an identity card and he was a man from Gambia, while two others said they were also from Gambia and the rest said they were from Senegal.” According to the Tunisian Defence Ministry.
