Tunisian President to attend Palermo Conference on Libya

The Tunisian President, Beiji Caid Essebsi

Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi will participate in the international conference on Libya in Palermo on November 12 and 13, the Tunisian Foreign Ministry said.

The announcement came in a statement following a meeting between Essebsi and Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui.

Many other international stakeholders announced that they would be participating in the conference in Italy in a bid to resolve the Libyan crisis.
