Two Reuters journalists apprehended in Myanmar
The government of Myanmar said the two missing Reuters journalists are detained by police.
Reuters said Myanmar security officials did not clarify why both Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo were apprehended in Yangon
The international news agency said “we are urgently seeking more information about the circumstances of their arrest and their current situation.”
Myanmar has witnessed growing restrains on press freedom, specially on matters around the powerful military and the Rohingya Muslims.
