UN delegate to Libya hindered from landing in Tobruk

The UN delegate to Libya and the Head of the UNSMIL, Martin Kobler was denied access to land his UN plane in Tobruk airport on Wednesday morning.

On Twitter Wednesday, Kobler said he felt sorry that his UN plane was not allowed to land in Tobruk for his meeting with the Tobruk-based House of Representatives.

“The UNSMIL should be allowed to reach all Libyan cities including the eastern ones so that it could reach consensus and solution for all Libyans’ sake.” The UN delegate added.
