Vienna to host summit on Libya’s Oil & Gas Industry
Austria is the host of the ‘1st Libyan-European Oil & Gas Summit’, which will be held from 28-29 June 2018 at the Marriott Hotel in Vienna. The agenda not only covers topics like the restoration and renewal of the Libyan oil and gas fields, Libya’s infrastructure and the general security situation, but also pays special attention to the multitude of business and investment opportunities that are now opening up, especially for Austrian and European companies.
“The Libyan oil and gas industry is making huge efforts to considerably increase the oil production. Billions of dollars are being invested to repair and renew the obsolete facilities. Since 2017, European companies have continuously increased their activities in the Libyan oil fields. The ‘1st Libyan-European Oil & Gas Summit’ provides the unique opportunity not only to gain essential first-hand insights into Libya’s current situation and the excellent business opportunities, but also to meet the leaders of the Libyan oil and gas industry personally. Especially for suppliers who have not been active in Libya until now, this is a unique opportunity to establish high-level contacts.” – Dr. Diethard Kratzer (CEO, HOT)
HOT Engineering GmbH (HOT), a Leoben-based consulting company for the oil and gas industry, was entrusted by the National Oil Corporation Libya (NOC) to organise this conference.
Participating companies will have the chance to showcase their products and services to the NOC committee by booking an exhibition space, or to present themselves in a ‘Private Executive Meeting’. These special face-to-face meetings offer conference participants the excellent and unique chance to initiate successful business ventures and to network with top-class decision makers. (Note: Exhibition spaces and private executive meetings are limited, please book in advance).
