Zintan Military Council rejects Operation Dignity’s appointment of pro-Gaddafi officials

The Military Council of Zintan city has rejected the appointment of pro-Gaddafi ex-officials by Operation Dignity led by Khalifa Haftar in eastern Libya.

The council held meetings last week for the city’s military officers and then decided to denounce the decision of Haftar’s eastern command of Operation Dignity to appoint officer who were active in oppressing February 17 Revolution in 2011 at the Gaddafi time.

The Zintan Military Council also stressed that they will protect the revolution against such decisions, saying that they won’t accept the appointment of Gaddafi followers in military positions by Operation Dignity.
