127 Ghanaian immigrants returned home from Libya

127 Ghanaian migrants have returned to Ghana from Libya through the intervention of Ghana’s government, which said it was making efforts to bring more Ghanaian nationals back home.
According to the account of one of the returnees, there were over 170 Ghanaian nationals still being held in some of the illegal immigrants’ camps in Libya.
This comes as the UN and the international community agreed to carry out an all-out repatriation and evacuation of illegal immigrants from Libya to their hone countries after allegations of slave markets.
