Presidential Council appoints Al-Jihani to represent Libya at the Hague
The Presidential Council of the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) has appointed Ahmed Al-Jihani as Libya’s Representative at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
In a statement issued Tuesday, the Presidential Council stated that it had appointed Al-Jihani represent Libya at the ICC headquarters in The Hague.
Al-Jihani to succeed, Mohammad Al-Alagy, who was appointed by Al-Thinni government of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives.
