Al-Hariga port: Two oil tankers sailed off with 1.2 million oil barrels

After long time of shutdown, Al-Hariga oil port in Tobruk announced that the two delayed oil vessels got 1.2 million load of oil barrels and sailed off the Libyan shores.

Officials from Al-Hariga port said the shipments will head toward Italy after being delayed in the port due to the strike and protests made by the Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) over salary payment.

The spokesman of Al-Kahleej Al-Arabi Oil Company, Omran Al-Zuwai, said that the Greek-flagged oil vessel named “S.T. Helen” took off from the port with a load of 600.000 barrels of crude oil, while the second Greek-flagged vessel, which is named “A.G Freedom”, was also loaded with the same amount under the supervision and authority of Al-Khaleej Al-Arabi Oil Company.
